In the Carton

when I put my hen eggs in the cartons I mix them up and by this I mean I pick out all different sizes, shapes (yes shapes!) and  colors.  As it gets closer to Easter my hens eggs look like they were painted naturally just for the occasion.  Some of the shapes of the hen eggs are oval, oblong, flat on one side, bumpy, textured.  The colors range from dark brown, light brown, pink, white, greenish blue, speckled with dark brown spots, and blotches of color.  One of the hens lays this super jumbo egg which is a medium brown, and another hen lays this super small dark brown egg.
