Eating Organic

It is so important to eat organic.  The first thing people complain about is that organic food is too expensive.  But isn’t your health the most important thing?  If you don’t have your health you have nothing.  Everything is expensive in the supermarket today.  Organic is just a dollar more.  Isn’t your well-being worth a dollar or two more?  What about the health of your children if you have them?  We eat organically and we have for years.  I grow a lot of our vegetables and some fruits.  I’m in the vegetable garden every day weeding and hand picking bugs off the plants.  I feed the weeds to the chickens who give us wonderful delicious eggs.  We buy grass-fed beef from a reputable farmer in upstate NY.  We buy free-range chickens.  We get whey fed pork from another farmer we know.  Sometimes my husband hunts for deer and we have that meat to eat.  There are a lot of sources to eating healthy, you just have to look for them.  We also drink raw milk.  What is raw milk?  It’s the milk straight from the cow.  The stuff with all the cream on top.  Oh and so delicious.  So if you don’t eat organic, I hate to say it but you really are missing out.
